In verses 9-12, Paul urges the Corinthians to support Timothy and greet Apollos when he has the chance to meet them.

In verses 9-12, Paul urges the Corinthians to support Timothy and greet Apollos when he has the chance to meet them.
Apollos, in verse 28, puts his new understanding to use in public debate.
Like a debater on a forensics team, he supports the claim that Jesus is Messiah from the Old Testament scriptures.
In verses 26-27, Apollos receives some coaching and then travels to share the Good News.
Apollos didn’t mean to teach an incomplete message, but in verses 24-25, we learn that he doesn’t have a full understanding of Jesus’ baptism.
I wonder how this misunderstanding influences faith today.
