My 3 Words

Chris Brogan suggests selecting 3 words each year to define your focus for the next 12 months.
Although I’ve been on the sidelines in the past, I’d like to apply this idea in 2012.
My 3 words are prayer, patience, perspective.
I will pray in a structured way at least twice per day, with additional prayers as needed throughout the day.
I will be more patient when I feel my hot button being pushed. When a person is mistreated, I will respond firmly but not in anger.
I am not yet fully clear on what I mean by perspective, but I anticipate that keeping life in perspective will help me serve my family, my church, and my students & colleagues more effectively.
