Thank You, God, For Blessing Me by Max Lucado
I’d never been introduced to Hermie the Caterpillar and his menagerie of animal friends before.
Max Lucado has created a simple story for Hermie’s world, one that my six-year-old daughter enjoyed.
It has the feel of a Richard Scarry story from the 1980s, but we read it together on my iPhone.
One tip: read it in landscape, not portrait orientation. The pictures were too small and the text was broken up awkwardly until I turned my phone sideways.
The story was worth a one-time read, but I don’t believe it’s something we’ll look at again. I’d suggest borrowing a copy from your local library or sharing it with a few of your friends.
