Heaven Is for Real for Kids, by Colton Burpo

I was late to this party.

It wasn’t until visiting with my family over Christmas that I was introduced to Colton’s story.

It’s not an unfamiliar story. My best friend’s little brother was hit by a car, and he reported very similar things while recovering from his injuries.

Some parents will find this book compelling. Others may be uncomfortable with some of its themes, so read it first before sharing it with your kids.

If you’re interested in sharing this story with your family, I suggest avoiding an electronic copy of the book. The illustrations appeared to make the transition well, but the font size and color of the text made the book difficult to read at times.

Disclaimer: I was given a free copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for my unbiased review.
