The Explosive Child and Lost at School, both by Dr. Ross Greene

Do you find yourself in a power struggle with a child in your life?

Do you experience persistent, frequent frustrations and explosive situations at home or at school?

Then check out these two books by Dr. Ross Greene, inventor of Collaborative Problem Solving.

Dr. Greene encourages parents and teachers to assume that children with behavioral challenges have a developmental delay, no different than a struggle with reading or math.

By assuming that children who act out want to do the right thing, it is more likely that adults and kids will be able to follow Plan B and come up with mutually agreeable solutions to a wide variety of problems.

If you’d like to learn more about Plan B, I recommend either one or both of these books.
