In Galatians 2:1, we read that Paul had been serving as a missionary to Gentiles for 14 years before he checked in with the leaders in Jerusalem.

Wonder what took him so long?

Could be as simple as embarrassment that he’d been so effective at killing Christians in his earlier days, and Paul didn’t feel that he’d earned his allies’ trust.

Paul’s Separation

I wonder why, in verses 15-24, Paul emphasizes his separation from the apostles in Jerusalem.

What happened to prompt this focus?
